Upper Peninsula Comedy | Free Sunday Comedy Night at Club Four One

The return of cold weather is certainly no laughing matter, but the return of “Comedy Nights” to Club Four One is definitely something to laugh about!
Comedy Nights make their official return to the Island on Sunday, September 8th at 8:00 PM. Held in Club Four One, Comedy Nights feature a different nationally touring comedian from the Bonkerz Comedy Club each week. Check out our list of upcoming comedians for the month of September:

Sunday, September 8: Vikram Balaji, star of his own Dry Bar Comedy Special, with Heather O’Laughlin
Vikram Balaji is an international touring comedian who has performed in six foreign countries and various comedy festivals like World Series of Comedy Festival, Chattanooga Lookout Comedy Festival, Magner’s International Comedy Festival (Philippines), etc. He recently opened for Russell Peters and Nick Di Paolo. He brings a comedic style which involves finding humor in painful experiences but still very relatable to all kinds of audiences. He is based out of Chicago and is a regular in all local Midwest US comedy clubs.

Thursday, September 12: Collin Chamberlin – also appearing in the Bonkerz Comedy Showcase September 14th in the Island Showroom
Collin Chamberlin is a New York based comedian who’s been entertaining audiences for years. His clean, quick wit and family stories about growing up in Pittsburgh will make anyone laugh. His conversational delivery and timing make you feel like you’re talking to a friend. Collin is a regular at New York Comedy Club and he’s had the privilege to perform in some of the most iconic venues across the country. He recently performed on the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. Collin’s material has been heard regularly on Sirius XM. He’ll talk about his obsession with fast food or rooming with his grandfather anywhere, as long as there’s gas money and a microphone. Just ask him about the high school prom he ruined. He’s shared the stage with some of the best comedians working, including Steve Martin and Martin Short!

Sunday, September 22: Tyler Ross from CAN TV’s “LOL” and featured on Chicago PD, with Ray Roberts
Tyler Ross is a Chicago-based comedian, by way of Cleveland. His silly and playful style of comedy has entertained audiences throughout the US and Canada. His comedy has had him telling jokes at comedy clubs, casinos and festivals. Tyler just released his first special, “Useless Millennial” on YouTube which has surpassed over 30k views.

Sunday, September 29: Cody Miears, host of the podcast, Wel­come to the Trash Heap.
Cody Miears is a stand up comic currently residing in the booming comedy scene of Austin, TX. His journey started by performing in Chicago and Milwaukee before packing up his car, which he would end up living in for his first year in the Texas capital. He has performed all over this country in cities such as New Orleans, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Oklahoma City just to name a few. Miears has been seen opening for Sam Tripoli, Louis Katz, and Eddie Bravo as well as being featured twice on Google Maps. He’s performed on Hell Yes Fest, Flotefest, and The Roast Battle League. Through unique life experiences he delivers sharp, clever, and hilarious observations and anecdotes with a strong presence that commands the room.
